Official Rochester Elks 2007 Raffle Rules
1. To enter, correctly complete an official raffle ticket stub and present to
the Rochester Elks #2225 via mail or directly. Tickets cost $20/per. A maximum
of 750 tickets will be sold. If less than 500 tickets are sold the Raffle
automatically reverts to a 50/50 raffle.

Enter as many times as you wish. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
Only official Raffle tickets will be accepted. Each ticket costs $20.
3. This raffle begins April 2007. All entries must be received prior to the drawing at the Rochester Elks #2225 in Rochester, MI. December 2nd, 2007 to be eligible. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or postage-due mail, or for printing or other errors.
4. The prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received and need not be present to win. A valid ID (driver’s license, birth certificate etc) that matches the winning ticket, must be presented in order to claim Grand Prize. (Valid ID that matches the winning ticket takes precedence over a ticket stub – if two separate parties claim the grand prize.)
5. The drawing will be conducted and the winner will be announced at the December 2nd, 2007 Rochester Elks Christmas Parade Open House. Entries become the property of the Rochester Elks #2225 and will not be returned.
6. The potential winner (if not present at time of drawing) will be notified by telephone and mail. Potential winner will follow directions contained and any required affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance form or any other correspondence attached therewith and return all forms, correctly filled out, so that the forms are received within twenty-one days of the date of the correspondence. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. The potential winner is responsible for ensuring that any of the previously mentioned forms are actually received at the designated address within twenty-one days.
7. The grand prize consists of a $5000 Cash (if 500 or more tickets are sold…otherwise raffle is a 50/50). There is only one grand prize to be awarded. There is no substitution of this prize. 2nd Prize is $400 and 3rd prize is $200. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
8. Raffle is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by applicable law. Persons entering the raffle are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in any way relating to their entry or entries whether based upon their place of residence or otherwise.
9. The winner releases the Rochester Elks #2225 and its offices, agents and members from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss, accident, or death incurred in connection with the use of this prize. The Rochester Elks #2225 does not make, nor is responsible for, a warranty or a guaranty with regards to this prize.
10. By acceptance of the prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name and address and/or likeness for purposes of advertising or trade without additional compensation.
11. The name of the winner (released officially after December 2nd, 2007) will be posted on the Rochester Elks #2225 web site – www.rochesterelks2225.org
12. By entering the raffle, each participant agrees to abide by the rules of the raffle. The Rochester Elks #2225 reserves the right to amend, revise, and interpret these rules as it sees fit.
